It’s the first day of Fall, 2019, and I’m thinkin’ of ramblin’ n’ travelin’…

In the past, I’ve taken some exceptional rides on long-distance trains. The first was when I was three years old. I went with my family on a Santa Fe train trip from California to Missouri, and it was an experience I never forgot. I remember the scenery whooshing by the windows, the movement of the cars, and especially the sounds of the click-clack tracks, diesel horns, bells, whistles, train engine sounds, and automated crossing guards.

Since that time, I’ve taken many train rides here in America. With some of the photography I did on those trips, I created a short video. The video’s music represents a train ride, Doppler-effect and all. In the future, I’d like to ride all the great rail lines of the world.

P.S. Amtrak offers some great discounts during non-vacation times. It just might be time you tried out the rails on your next trip!
