As the days get shorter and nights get longer, I believe it’s time to literally “lighten up!” For this post, I have a video called “Neonpolitan,” which features The Neon Museum in Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S.A. Disney’s Electrical Parade inspired the original music, which seemed appropriate for these playgrounds: Disney theme parks and the Las Vegas Strip.

The Neon Museum is located on the far north end of the Strip, and is best described as a neon sign boneyard, a museum, or uniquely “Vegas.” Of course, Warsaw, Poland, has a neon museum, too. And, Route 66 right here in the U.S.A. is known for its neon art. Yet, the hotels and casinos (and other businesses) in Las Vegas have a deep history with the magic of neon. Its bright colors, its curvy forms, and its “flash” made it an ideal partner for Vegas when Vegas was just getting started.

Neon art may have reached its zenith in the late 20th Century. However, one can view great examples of this unique artform at the Neon Museum. Check it out; you may like it. (P.S. Also, I recommend the night tours.)
