Some of the USA’s best parks are located in the northern great plains states. As part of my “National Parks, Memorials, and Monuments Series” of videos, the following video documents only a few of the best in South and North Dakota. Because of their northern latitudes, you might find snow there now. But, if you visit in late spring through fall, you’ll see expanses of green prairie grass, gnarly animals in the wild, and vast horizons of sky. They definitely are worth a look-see. One could become your favorite national park.
Though I may never win a cowboy-poetry competition, I hope you enjoy the original song in the video, if only for its cool, mellow groove.
