When I travel to a new place, I like to hunt for the old. Not literally, but of a sort, I “dig” for human development and achievement in a country’s museums of archaeology, painting, photography, and history. “Main Street” museums in small towns also give us glimpses of past lives in these places. Of course, while visiting Ireland, I had to find places where I could search for its past humanity. Three sites I saw and recorded are: 1) The National Museum: Archaeology; 2) Derrynane House National Historic Site; and, 3) The Little Museum of Dublin. They are shown on the following video.

History, during different times and eras, is captured in selected museums around the world. For me, I find it educational to know about those times in order to better understand the human march towards the future.
