Oslo, Norway is gorgeous, one of the most beautiful places in the world. On top of that, the Oslo City Hall outshines most other city halls in its dedication to the Common Man, citizens, and people of Norway. Please take a look at the following video and appreciate the artistic achievements of Norway’s capital city, City Hall!

Completed at its latest location in 1950, architects made decisions to include artwork as part of the interior design of Oslo City Hall. In murals, paintings, tapestry, and photographs, the exuberance of the working people newly liberated, (see the murals of “Gestapo”-like shadows hovering in the background,) show a populace ready and willing to move forward as an independent nation.

Oslo City Hall represents and celebrates the Common Man. People gather here, in its many open rooms and halls. Factors that influence the people’s lives are discussed here. And if you like, couples can even be married here! Hats off to this building and its artwork for the people. Happy May the first to all the workers out there too!
