Because a good old Western is what you need sometimes, I’ve produced a video set in the Old West. Most of the footage comes from Bodie State Historic Park in California. It is a mining town turned ghost town, still intact and weathered after all these years. Unlike the ghost-town-like feeling in today’s city streets, (due to the pandemic,) this town ended after the mining economy ran dry.
There is little chance current economies will create modern ghost towns, not even in our smallest communities. People want to work. People need to feel productive. There is still a wealth of human and natural resources available. There is no reason our economy will not be as mighty as it was a few months ago. Until the time we go back to work, grab the popcorn and enjoy a good old movie or two. Enjoy!
