I have been on break since late November, but I am back now to continue my videos and songs of the places I have seen and can recommend. So, where was I when I left off. Oh yeah, castles in Wales.
“A long time ago, in a land far, far away, there was a maiden, a sea monster, and a castle…”
Well, the castle part is real, because I have been there. The “there” is Caerphilly Castle near Cardiff, Wales. It has the look — the water, the high walls, the battlements and crenellations of castles; and, it has the feel of a medieval time.
Fortunately, we do not need to time travel back to the Middle Ages to see for ourselves the look and feel of castle life. Just visit a castle like this one. You might want to picnic here, too, because the grounds and countryside in this part of Wales are lovely. It is fun for the whole family.
